HP Netserver 5/100 LH

Hello,

I'm using HP Netserver 5/100 LH server and loading Novell on it. Attached 2 mirror 4.0GB hard drisk.
One day my server was down and after that it cannot boot up with these 2 hard drive.
But it can boot and working properly with any of these one hard disk.
What can that be?
I still want my server back with 2 hard disk mirror status.

What controller are the hard drives attached to? SCSI or a RAID card? Have you configured a hardware RAID or software RAID (with Novell)? What version of Novell?

Hi..

Novell version 4.11
Controller is onboard SCSI and using two 4GB hard disk mirror by using novell OS.
Server was down unexpertedly without changing any configurations. After that while booting process server is asking for server name and internal network number. I entered correct information but server itself went back to dos command prompt.
Server can boot and working properly any of these one hard disk without asking servername and internal network number.

This is a Novell software question since it does concern a Novell software RAID array. I would recommend researching Novell's knowledgebase - HP does not have a Novell support forum. Good luck with this.
