Netserver LT 6000r broken handle
The handle that open the main cover and liked to a sensor is boken (sensor too). Is there a way to bypass this sensor or I'll have to buy that part with a new sensor? And if so, can you tell me the fastest way to get that part?
Thanks for advice!

Re: Netserver LT 6000r broken handle
eBay or parts store if HP still support spare parts sale
http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=modsrch&template=main&cpric=&prodsrch=HP+NETSERVER+LT+6000R
D9143-63016 Top cover handle assembly - Includes handle solenoid assembly
NO LONGER SUPPLIED
eBay only or self repair
TOP COVER
CAUTION Do NOT operate the HP NetServer for more than 60 minutes with any cover
(including power supplies and disk drives) removed. Otherwise, damage to system
components may result due to improper cooling airflow.
However, you can safely remove a cover while the HP NetServer is running to
remove and replace PCI Hot Plug boards. For any other service activity requiring
access to the processor board or I/O board, power down the HP NetServer and
observe all safety precautions.
-----------------
in other words you should have no problem, it might referes only to informational sensor for interlock, however with management software you should be able see alerts or warrnings if there will be some
