Netserver Storage System/6 and SurestoreDLT30

Is it possible to fit the tape drive from the DLT30 into the chassis of the Netserver Storage System/6??? and connect/configure so that backups (of the HDD's)can take place.
If yes what cables/adaptors would be required???

hello,

the SS6 is just a box with power supply that can hold disk drives, so you can fit inside the DLT30, and connect it at the internal cables.
the only problem is that you have to connect your SS6 to a SCSI controller and not to a raid controller beause the netraid controllers do not support tapes on their bus, so you will not able to share the SS6 with disks.
