RAID 1 duplexing on LH3000 impossible ?
Hi everybody,
I'd like to make 2 Raid 1 (mirroring) duplexing with 2 Netraid 3SI cards.
Behind my hot mass storage cage, I added a dupleing card and I 2 NetRaid 3SI (one on the first SCSI 68pins port and th esecond on the last SCSI 68pins port).
When I launch HP NetRaid, I can't build araid 1 with the disk 9Go on channel 0 of the first 3SI card with the disk 9Go on channel 0 of the second 3SI card.
HP told to me that itsn't possible with this server, nevertheless the definition of raid1 duplexing is "Technique consisting in record the same data on two discs at the same time, each disc using its clean controller".
I need help, thank's for advance.
Christophe.

Re: RAID 1 duplexing on LH3000 impossible ?
hi,
you can make duplexing using for each part a different channel of the same netraid, different cable different part of the Hotswap cage, but not two differents netraid
