Racked keyboard power key !
I got a J1470A kit (flat screen/keyboard/mouse) for Netserver LT6000 racked use.
The owner's manual said that the 3 power keys are disable, but they AREN'T.
I'm looking for a solution to make then totaly disable.
Is anybody got a solution?
Many thanks.

Re: Racked keyboard power key !
The power keys work only on windows2000 ACPI compliant servers.
They cannot be ??turned-off.
To disable the functionality, you should change the HAL of your windows 2000 server to a non-acpi hal.
Take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q237556 for more info about changing the HAL in W2K.
If that doesn??t solve it, you can call HP and ask for an old type keyboard for your console.
Hope this helps.
Marco.
