TopTools and the SNMP vulnerabilities
Since the SNMP vulnerabilities have become public this week, our org has temporarily stopped the SNMP service in NT and set to disable on boot. We have done a SNMP scan and determined that the only devices on the network to respond are the TopTools cards on the NetServers. Has anyone heard if this is a problem and does anyone know if SNMP can be temporarily disabled on TopTools?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: TopTools and the SNMP vulnerabilities
David,
I know that you have to have SNMP to run toptools. I am not able to verify right now if you can disable SNMP in the TopTools bios right now. Check this docuement on securing SNMP on the TopTools Server www.hp.com/rnd/support/faqs/release_notes_41.doc
Hope that helps..
