firmware invalid

can someone please help me...
i have HP LH 6000 U3 server, when i try to start the server i get the following message:
"firmware invalid"
read the raedme file in "integrated HP netRAID firmware Update"

i tried to flash the adapter but it still gives me the same error.

Yuval,

All you can try to do to restore the Integrated Netraid would be to clear CMOS and reseat the i/o cache above the top PCI slot. Otherwise, you've lost the netraid controller and need the i/o board replaced.

I can't recall where reseatin the i/o cache has brought back the adapter, but it is worth an attempt.

I believe there are different firmware versions for U2 and U3 IO boards. Could this be the problem ?

Martin,

The error would not be caused by a U2 i/o board in a U3 system, we could downgrade the bios to U2 and make it compatible. The issue is the controller itself has stopped responding.
