netraid 1m and raid 10

I have a LC2000U3 with netraid 1M with 6 18Gb disks.

I would like to configure an array in RAID 10 on all 6 disks.

In HP Netraid software (or bios controller) when I select the six disks, the software tell me to make ONLY RAID 0 or RAID 5.... NO option for RAID 1 or RAID 10.
How can I do?

Thanks in advance

Creating a RAID 10 or RAID 50 requires "spanning" arrays. You will need to use NetRAID Assistant (not the Ctrl-M Express Tools program) to do this.
The best doc explaining exactly how to do this is for creating a RAID 50 (see URL below). Just make a RAID 1 (select only 2 drives) instead of 3 or more drives.
The basics steps include (1) creating the first array as a RAID 1, accepting it and creating a 2nd array (another RAID 1), then using the spanning option. So instead of selecting all six disks, you begin by selecting just the first 2 drives...

Re: netraid 1m and raid 10

I thank You for the reply.
One question:
Where can I found "NetRAID Assistant"?

I boot my LC2000 with HP Navigator CD and then I run "Configure disk array".
Is This "NetRAID Assistant"?

Hi Terri,
I configured my raid 10 without problems.
Now, all works fine.
