DL380G4 Storage Server upgrade to R2?
I have 2 brand new DL380 Storage Servers ready to be deployed into prod. I wanted to install some form of utility to restrict certain file types (movies, mp3's etc).
Microsoft's new Windows 2003 R2 has a feature pack to achieve this functionality.
Does anyone know if it is possible and/or supported to upgrade to Windows 2003 R2 onto my DL380 Storage Servers? They are both already running 2003 w/SP1 which is a prerequisite for R2.
I just thought I would check since the whole SP1 issue blew up in my face pretty good :)

Re: DL380G4 Storage Server upgrade to R2?
Hi,
The upgrade is not yet available for WSS2003 sp1 to R2 . Hope it is available in the near future.
As for as i know, there is alread a utility availble for file screening. This can be configured from the Webui on local box using https:\\localhost:3202 . Give it a try.
