Exds9100c and Exds9100cx - Capacity Block: How to check the Temperature via CLI or GUI

Hi All,

Good Day!

We have HP X9720 Storage System. Lately we encounter some temperature issues on the Capacity Blocks. According to the manual, " exdsmgr " is the command to view the actual Temperature. Unfortunately I got this error,

can't find package somon
while executing
"package require somon"
(file "/usr/bin/exdsmgr" line 34)

I kind of a newbie here, I tried to search for this package " somon " but it leads me to nothing.

Hoping somebody could help me out here.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

"exds_stdiag -v" shows you at least an status if temp is ok or not.

Perhaps there is also an option for getting the value, but i am not sure.

Another way would be:

/usr/bin/mxso_cciss_info.bin -a ${bus_addr} -g -C "emu print"

But the exact details for this command I cant provide.
