NAS8000 routing issue

Hi,

Today I needed to add static route to the NAS8000, and I could not find routing tables changing command or GUI section. Does NAS8000 allow static routing ?

Maybe someone has already solved this issue ?

Re: NAS8000 routing issue

You can use the "invokeSystemTool" command to execute "route" commands.

For example, "invokeSystemTool route add default 1.2.3.4 1"

Please be very careful with this command, as you can damage the NAS8000 if you do something wrong.

Good luck!

Re: NAS8000 routing issue

It's very interesting, because I'm unable to find any description of this command in the command reference. Why ?

Re: NAS8000 routing issue

I found it in one of the reference guides that are available for download online from hp.com; offhand, I don't remember which one one.

You can go to hp.com, look up NAS8000 under products/storage, then look for "information library", it should be in there.

good luck,

Re: NAS8000 routing issue

I've got the point :). I was searching in manuals for version of NASOS 1.4.*, and the command was described in 1.5 ones.
