Older x1400 with 1TB drives needing to up to 2TB...

Time is kinda on my side, so I am seeing if this is even possible...

We currently are using 1TB drives in an older in production x1400 NAS.

I need to increase space...

If I dump in one 2TB drive, let the unit rebuild completely using the new 2TB then repeat this process till all four drives have been replaced, could or actually would I be able to go into the ACU and see the new space and create a new logical drive that I could then use?

Or am I doomed to needing to rebuild the unit with new drives and move the data back to the unit?

Just seeing if anyone has tried this or would it simply not work?
