Problem Upgrading NAS200s to R2
We are trying to upgrade our NAS 2000s with the HP Storageworks R2 Upgrade CD and we are receiving the following error:
"Invalid logical drive configuration"
We have two of these boxes and the first one upgraded fine but we can't seem to get past this error on the second one. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Problem Upgrading NAS200s to R2
Hi Jason,
By default the SmartArray controllers configure the 2 OS drives into a RAID 1 single logical drive. This is not the setup the the upgrade wants so it bails rather than delete disks.
Restart the system and delete the logical drive(s) on the OS disk. Make sure you get the correct physical disks :-) Also, it is always a good idea to have a known good backup of your data and disconnect any external data drives from your system until the upgrade is complete.
You can re-connect the data drives after the CTL-ALT-DEL appears. A reboot from there will make the data disks visible in the OS.
Hope this helps,
JP
