StorageWorks HD compatibility
Hi guys,
I'm new here and I'm buying a storageworks x1600.
My doubt is:
- Can I put any enterprise HD on this hardware or only HP official HD? I want to use WD 4TB purple HD.
Thanks
Ronaldo

Re: StorageWorks HD compatibility
In terms of support, warranty etc.. it is always a good decision to use original components. Otherwise in case of trouble you are alone. Most array controllers don't want to work with 3rd party drives.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
