problem in executing cp and chgrp command
Hi
NAS model : vnx 7.1
os version : Red hat Linux 4.4
we performed the NAS microcode upgrade .
after upgrading,we faced the below issue.
for example
when I copy a file name "test1.file"
---------------------------------------------------------
rw- rw- rw userA admin test1.file
----------------------------------------------------------
i am login to the server with my individual account , userB and I am executing
cp -ip test1.file /home/userB
after executing copy command, owner getting changed automatically.
instead of owner to be remained as userA and admin,
owner getting changed automatically to userB and userB.
what could be the issue ???
we tested for other mount points (for internal disk and SAN mount point),there are no issue.
problem only is with NAS mount point.
is that problem with OS or NAS ?
