And this in the HCLUpdate.log
[2018-01-03 10:39:16.803000]info: lang_dir = C:\Program Files (x86)\HCL\Langs [2018-01-03 10:39:16.806000]info: find qm file [2018-01-03 10:39:16.821000]info: start HCLUpdate [2018-01-03 10:39:16.835000]info: finish init [2018-01-03 10:39:16.835000]error: patch dir isEmpty, close HCLUpdate [2018-01-03 10:39:16.835000]error: C:\Program Files (x86)\HCL\SimwareClient.exe

Re: HCL v2.1.0 "Server Start Failed" on Windows 10
I figthed MONTHS with HCL, testing any tips I found with no results at all. I gave up, I was trully frustrated add angry due to the lost time ... a few days ago I tried to install HCL in a Windows Server VM just installed .(English) ...for my suprise all the process ran smoothly and voilà ...HCL up and running with no troubles at all. I hope to help you. I'm not 100% sure rigth now but once you have the Windows Server English version up and runnig run the installation program as Administrator, just in case. Good luck !! please feel free to contact me in case of any addictional details.
