HP Network Simulator - Quick start guide
Below is a quick start guide for installing the Simulator
1. You need a minimum of 8Gb of ram to import my topology (16Gb is far better as then you can do email/office as well as running the simulator at the same time).
2. Ensure you have administration rights to install software on the PC, you plan to use.
3. Enable virtualisation in Bios
4. Install Oracle virtualbox version 4.3.10 (as other versions may not work)
5. Install The HP Network Simulator
6. Import the file from my 3 IRF cluster post
7. Connect to the mgmt interfaces using putty (ssh or telnet) on 192.168.56.101 , 192.168.56.102 , 192.168.56.103
8. login using username admin, password admin
Welcome to the HP Network Simulator
Start to finish you should be up and running in under 30 Mins

Re: HP Network Simulator - Quick start guide
Hello,
I keep getting "no bootable media found when staring Virtual Box" ? Changed the bios and also only have hard drive in the boot list for virtual box.
Suggestions ?
Thanks

Re: HP Network Simulator - Quick start guide
Hi btatrai,
Virtual Box installation is generally pretty straight forward. Please follow this link to ensure you've installed it properly.
