Armada 110 XP Pro

I installed fresh copy oem of xp-pro. (700mz, 192 ram 10 gig hd)I updated everything, thin trouble started. reboots and when sending error message reboots. I now have reformated and with no updates is running ok. I would like to update as far as I can without auto rebotting or eror screen and don't know which direction to go

Anybody solved this problem?

Re: Armada 110 XP Pro

I can't help you with a fix, but I have also had the same problem with my 110 (800mHz, 576RAM, 10 gig HD). I went as far as the first service pack CD without problems.

Re: Armada 110 XP Pro

Hi:

Did you happen to notice how much free space you had on the 10GB hard disk after the updates and when problems surfaced? Ben, your swapfile must be at least 1GB and Pat's 300MB.

I would install as much of the Windows 2000 (XP apparently not supported)stuff available for this system from http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/armada/us/locate/20_1321.html
especially the BIOS and System Enhancements Disk.

HTH!

Roger

Make a great day!
