SM,

It is my understanding that you have to have server class Windoze to act as a VPN server. I know for sure that this is true for Win2k and I am pretty sure that you will find that it is true for WinXP as well.

While both Win2k Pro and WinXP Home both work well as VPN clients, neither of them can be used as servers (to the best of my knowledge).

Can anybody prove these statements wrong?

True statment. Neither 2000 Pro nor XP Pro (natively) can be a VPN server, they are meant to be clients only.

Have you thought of bringing up a linux box?
