Device not amanged by NetworkManager

Hi Gurus ,

I am sure i had managed this one previously , but cannot recall how i did that.

Again in am facing the same problem in rhel6 with vmware workstation in  a bridged network , both the machine being in same subnet .NetworkManager restart , and then a network restart gives the error

Error: Connection activiation Failure , the device is not managed by Network Manager , i had configured the lan with nm-connection-editor only and i had also made sure that ifcfg- conatins the onboot=yes and userctl=yes ....yet no luck , where am i missing ?
