Event Viewer Warning - N1000 ID 33
I have a Windows 2003 server with an HP NC7170 Dual Gig NIC installed. Whenever the server boots up I receive the following warning:
"HP NC7170 Dual Gigabit Server Adapter Spanning Tree Protocol has been detected on the device your network connection is attached to."
I believe this is mostly informational, however I am unable to determine why this is happening. This warning does not appear on any of the other servers in our datacenter, so I am hoping to get some insight as to what might be causing it.
Thanks.
-Bill

You may need to install HP ProLiant Network Server Adapters and Upgrade Modules Software and Documentation
