FTP access to exsting users.

Hi,
Is there any way by which I can give ftp access to all the users on all my servers with just one login credential? (Global FTP settings)

I want to give ftp rights to users on in my domain. also, how can i give ftp right while adding a new user?

Re: FTP access to exsting users.

Hi,

By default, in HP-UX, ftp is enable to all users.

You can restrict the same to perticular users by editing the file /etc/ftpd/ftpusers
.As well as you can give only ftp access to perticular users.

Re: FTP access to exsting users.

You just have to got /etc/ftpd/ftpusers file data filled as those not allowed ftp access.

put the user you wanted to not access there. .
