Fixed IP addresses of a node moving between VLANs
Dear all!
We have some VLANs in local network. And some servers usually go from one VLAN to another. Routers are configured with dhcp-helper settings. BOOTP/DHCP server is on HP-UX 11i v2.
Is it possibile to fix servers' IPs in multiple VLANs? For example in VLAN 1 make server receive ip 10.10.1.21, in VLAN 2 - ip 10.10.2.21, etc.
AFAIK based on MAC bootptab can fix IP only for one VLAN. Using MAC multiple times didn't work, syslog says about duplicate hw addresses. Using dhcptab with option gw (to make DHCP server assign addresses to multiple VLANs) works, but assigned addresses are random.
