Network Card
Hello,
Can anyone tell me how I can check to see that our network card is operating at
100mb/sec or not?
There must be a command somewhere. Ifconfig btlan01 indicates that it is up
and so on, but not with much details.
Please reply,
Nickd

Re: Network Card
If you are patched up, you can issue:
#lanscan >> note the NMID/PPA (10.20/11.0)
#lanadmin -x NMID/PPA >> this will display current speed/duplex
#lanamin -X 100FD NMID/PPA >> this will set it to Full Duplex.
use 100HD, 10FD, 10HD >> whatever your switch is set to.

Re: Network Card
Thank you for reply.
Can I change this on the fly, or will changing the speed knock my users off??
Thanks,
Nickd

Re: Network Card
You can change it on the fly, just make sure your switch is running what you
want to set the card to, or it can hang.
