Network Resource Type Not Correct

The printers I am using under a network with a server Windows 2000 Server and workstations Windows 98 give me the above error when trying to print over the network.
I have tried swapping out printer drivers, reinstalling, etc. Sometimes the problem will resolve itself with doing this and sometimes the printer just refuses to print over the network for any user after that.

Any ideas are very helpfull.

Hi,

Do you use hp jetdirect boxes for printing. Maybe there is a configuration problem with the box.
