Network adapter HP Compaq 6000 Pro

Hi,
I try to install Linux Debian (Etch and Lenny) in a new desktop HP Compaq 6000 Pro, and the système can't find the network card drivers.
I use the network installation (pxe,tftp(Linux,initrd), dhcp),and i dont know how can i do to use this Desktop

Two possible courses of action.

Look at the machine specifications for the system and find out who builds the card. Visit their website and they may provide a Linux driver for the card.

Go to a computer store or website and pick out a generic NIC card, install that. Linux will automatically pick up most Intel, Netgear and Dlink cards.

Most entry level HP computers are build only to support Windows, no other OS.
