Re: Perfomance in LANs card

Shalom,

sar can be used to measure network performance as well.

See: http://www.hpux.ws/system.perf.sh

If you are using APA, there are utilities on the hpux.ws website front page that can get you those figures.

Hi,

if you have glance, you can monitor lan performance.

Re: Perfomance in LANs card

Hi,

The lanadmin command could be useful to audit NICs statistics (eg: inbound/outbound packets behavior -discards, errros, collisions-, etc). Also you can check current NICs configuration values (eg: card type, MTU size, speed, MAC, status, etc). Detailled info "man lanadmin".

#lanadmin -g
Where corresponds to a LAN interface card. It defaults to the first LAN interface encountered in an internal list. Appropriate values can be displayed with the lanscan command at "Card Instance Number" column (see lanscan(1M)).
