Unable to configure hp-ux 11.31 as router to communicate between two different networks

Hi All,
I am trying to connect  two different subnets using hp-ux system in the middle as a router. Following is IP details of my configuration
      server1 : 192.2.170.100

      server2 ( Router ) :

                                             192.2.170.207 ( lan900 )

                                             10.10.10.207   ( lan2 )

       server3 : 10.10.10.206

After doing the necessary Lan connectivity , i am able to  ping "192.2.170.207"  from Server3 by adding the following route entry in Server3

    route add 192.2.170.207 10.10.10.207  1

But i am not able to reach  Server1 from  Server3 , which means i am not able to  ping  "192.2.170.100"  from Server3.

     Pls note ,  Server1 IP ( 192.2.170.100 ) is pinging from  Server2.

Pls find the attached Route entries for each hosts.

Kindly let me know if anyone has any clue, how to do this connectivity,

Thanks in Advance

Abhilash

Re: Unable to configure hp-ux 11.31 as router to communicate between two different networks

Did you add the reverse root from server1?

on server 1

route add 10.10.10.206    192.2.170.207 1

Else you will need to get an nic layer trace on the 3 servers. (nettl)
