WIN2008 R2: OpenPegasus Connect is failing
WIN2008 R2: OpenPegasus Connect is failing
I have windows 2008 R2 on my HP server and i installed HP SIM agent version 8.26. I have installed HP WBEM provider on the same machine and its version is 2.6 for WIN2008 R2.
I developed a CIM client using OpenPegasus but when i try to connect with this machine i am always getting the excpetion "CQHMClient::Connect() Failed to connect to 10.99.126.95".
My question are :
1. Will OpenPegasus will work against the HP agent or is there anything do we need to install?
2. Do HP windows agent provides the support for WBEM?
3. Is there anyone who configured the HP agent for WBEM. Could you please help me with this?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Anmol R

At a command prompt
netstat -an
That will list the ports listening.
make sure your app is trying to connect to the right port.
