What's the meaning of HP_IETHER_SEND_COA not found?
Hi All
I setup the DHCP client in my rx2620 server but disable it later. When I restart the server, it startup very slow. I checked rc.log and found an error message shows "... HP_IETHER_SEND_COA not found" in almost every startup script. I didn't find any related info about this message in google or HP IT resource. Can someone tell me what's the meaning of this error? How to correct it?

Re: What's the meaning of HP_IETHER_SEND_COA not found?
Hello,
This looks very strange.
There is a valid parameter named
HP_IETHER_SEND_COAL_TICKS.
Your "HP_IETHER_SEND_COA" s looks like
misspelt or truncated
"HP_IETHER_SEND_COAL_TICKS".
Can you check your files:
/etc/rc.config.d/hpietherconf
/sbin/rc2.d/S306hpiether
Regards,
VK2COT

Re: What's the meaning of HP_IETHER_SEND_COA not found?
Hi
I've got this problem after configuring a network card on a rx2660
I simply removed the line "HP_IETHER_SEND_COA" in the file /etc/rc.config.d/hpietherconf and the message didn't happen anymore
