Which ADSL router?
I've read about some ADSL routers (Draytek, Netgear, D-link to mention a few) but I don't know which one to buy.
Is anyone sharing an ADSL line with an ADSL router.
If so can you suggest or recommend an ADSL router.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Which ADSL router?
Did I mention that I really like Linksys?
:-)
They're also on several committees pushing wireless standards through.

Re: Which ADSL router?
Also add to your notes that you can buy the :
Linksys Cable/DSL Wireless router.
It has 4 ports LAN (RJ45).
It has Wireless Access point built in.
Easy to install & configure through the Web Based management http://192.168.1.1
once it's installed.
Should you require any addtional assistance, please let us know.
Good luck.

Re: Which ADSL router?
I agree with XMAN.. You can now get 8.11g (53-54M down) for the same price as 8.11b was 3 months ago. And it's 8.11b compatible!

Re: Which ADSL router?
so it's Linksys all the way
from the products I've seen most of them require a ADSL modem
I want one with a built-in ADSL....
ALSO- Will a DSL modem work with an ADSL line?
And- can a Linksys ADSL router have wireless connections as well as wired connections simultaneously?
Thanks

Re: Which ADSL router?
Yes, Linksys Wireless can be used for both, for it has 4 ports as I've mentioned before and hence you can use the ports to connect your PCs and this will be none wireless.
For the wireless to work, you need wireless NICs installed at the PCs.
DSL/ADSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is the same protocol but different upstreams/downstreams speeds.
If you need any help installing it, please drop us a line.
Hope this help.
Thanks and good luck.

Re: Which ADSL router?
there are so many Linksys routers, I'm looking throught them now
a lot of them require an ADSL modem since one isn't built in
I'd like one which has a built in ADSL modem
