Re: Windows 2003
Usually, this is just an informational message generated to inform you that a driver was added for a printer.
What else is your server running? SNA Print Services? Terminal Server? anything of these or other programs? AD? DNS? DHCP? WINS? POP3?
Are yuou at SP1?
Is your app an home brewed custom app? or something available to the general public?
Do you get a Dr. Watson error? or just the app closes?

Are you sure that is not just coincidence?

Re: Windows 2003
I suggest try the PCL5e or PS printer driver instead of PCL6. PCL6 conflicts with some apps, especially apps which are not mainstream.

Re: Windows 2003
Unconnect the printer and try again.
Question:
Is the printer being shared?

Re: Windows 2003
The errors line up date and minute to the shut downs of the application(about 8 times now once a week sometimes twice).
It is a home brewed app that has been in the market for about 10 years now.
Deleted the printer and assigned a different networked printer and same error happened for that printer. Hp2300 vs. HP6.
This server has no direct printer attached.
The printers are on a Windows 2000 server.

Re: Windows 2003
Not sure this helped since the problem went away before I did this.
Thanks to everyone for their help and ideas.
Have a good day.
