XP VPN
I current have XP Professional running RRAS and allowing VPN connections.
Problem is that clients who connect are only seeing shared resources on PC to which they are attached.
I need to know what is needed to allow the client to view all items on host network.
Also, would I need a second VPN connect to clients network for me to be able to access resources there? or is the tunnel "two way"?
Thanks.

Re: XP VPN
Hi Me,
I'm not very expertised in VPN (just done some tries with Win2K and NT4), but I've seen that if the calling PC belongs to the Domain it's calling it can access all the resources.
There could be some issues in name resolving and LAN browsing, depending on LAN architecture and settings.
VPN is defenitively a two way channel, but still, you can have some troble in browsing and name solving if everithing isn't set in the appropriate way.
...to know what the appropriate way is, it's necessary to know something more about your settings...
Bye,
Andrea.

Re: XP VPN
Thanks,
I was able to resolve the issue.
First was to empliment DNS and add and entry for each resource (server). Then set the dhcp settings to set my DNS as primary.
