If i change the search order in /etc/reolv.conf do i have any impact becouse of it
Eg ( Now the entry is )
search hai.priv hello.corp.priv bye.irco.com
IWANT TO CHANGE THIS, like as Follows
search hello.corp.priv hai.priv bye.irco.com
Please let me know your valuable advice on this.

Of course this would have a huge impact for the local host.
Supposing that each of the domains listed on that files have a host called "www", let's say that you would issue this command:
ping www
before editing that file you would get replays from www.hai.priv
afther that modification, you would get replays
from www.hello.corp

SolutionSo every daemon or client (running on your server) using names and needing name resolution would suffer after this issue.
If the FQDN will be used, there will be not a problem at all (meaning: if your server would open let's say a connection to oracle using this name
ora
will depend on this change but using
ora.hai.priv
would not suffer about this issue)
