mixed wireless-wired SOHO network
I have a small network using an HP Pavilion dv5220 as the primary account. I now have it working correctly as a wired Ethernet connection.
Can I also configure it as a wireless connection at the same time? How do I do this so occasionally I can use it in another location?
TIA,
Lew

Re: mixed wireless-wired SOHO network
Hi:
When you're in the wireless location, simply activate the wireless 'radio' and connect to the Access Point (SSID).
Make a great day!

Re: mixed wireless-wired SOHO network
May I add to my problem description, please.
My laptop has ethernet, firewire, and wireless connection possibilities.
I have it configured for ethernet now.
I want this one laptop to also be configured for wireless.
My thanks for a prompt reply, but ....
I know wireless is rf communication but what is the "radio" you mentioned?
I need some step by step directions more than a verbal description.
Again, thanks but I still need assistance.
