network interface port

Hi Expert,

I want to do failover test in APA configuration through command line.

Means:- i want to test lan0 and lan2.
how to do that.
i have tried.
#ifconfig lan0 down
nothing is happening.
# ifconfig lan0 up
up: Device busy


current status:-
# nwmgr

It's maybe much easier to disable the port on the network switch ...

you could also try resetting the NIC via lanadmin

That's why I did not say pull the cable, but disable the port.

I have tried reset options.

#lanadmin -r 0

failover is also happened but logs are not generating.

root@mm1ciwtb:/var/adm/syslog # lanscan -q
1
