remote power off

hi,

using Vectra Vei8 NT4,
i d like to shutdown remotely and fully one of them.
used shutdown.exe from MS tools kit,and some from the web.
have changed alredy in user.dat the option HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\PowerdownAfterShutdown
have already replaced Hal.dll.

problem is that remotely,the station doesn t shutdown fully,it goes only with the restart box of NT4.perhaps,when i launch shutdown.exe directly on the station (locally), it goes to shutdown correctly.
i need to do it but only remotely. any suggestions?

found the solution
using a remote shell service to execute a poweroff directly from the computer.
