setting up NTP clients from GPS receiver
Hi All
Please I have a number of servers, some of them running HP-UX, 11.23 others 11.31 and two solaris 10 servers.
But I was given a "Symmetricom NTS-200 Network Time Serve " . This product according to the other guys in the department is already setup. So to setup clients what I would have to do will be only to add entries in the /etc/rc.config.d/netdaemons file and in the /etc/ntp.conf file, like:
NTPDATE_SERVER=< IP ADDRESS>
XNTPD=1
XNTPD_ARGS=
Then edit /etc/ntp.conf
add
server < ip address of NTP server>
Is That all?

Re: setting up NTP clients from GPS receiver
hi,
You should check /etc/TIMEZONE file. Carefull about the file. That can cause time errors.
