what's mean => glance alert "network bottleneck probability =100%"

Dear all 

i have rx7640 hp-ux 11.23 

i alway monitor the server with glance. 

sometimes, message displayied as "network bottleneck probability =100%"

is it network down? if not, what's mean? 

 

let me know. thank you.

Hi,

 

This  message is related to network traffic, That We can check the Network interface statistics for any collision and any other erroneous packets, choking the network.

 

 1) lanadmin -x for all cards that are connected. to get the speed at what it is running at now.

 2) netstat |egrep -i "Wait|est"

3) Check your syslog and dmesg for any error.

4) Please check the following files for the alarm condition :

/var/opt/perf/alarmdef
or
/opt/perf/newconfig/alarmdef

The above information will give you a better idea about the issue
