HIMSS19: Strengthening HPE's partnership with clinicians in the healthcare industry
With every passing year, the HIMSS (The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) event has become bigger and better. HIMSS 2019 is one-of-its-kind program that has brought together champions of health from around the globe for innovation and networking to help match the pace of change in such a dynamic healthcare industry. HIMSS, this year, had many highlights and updates on new global healthcare topics, trends, technologies and services, aimed to enhance clinical collaboration and improve the patients' experience.
The HIMSS 2019 witnessed 45000 attendees, who took an active part in various demos, workshops, competitions and discussions. HPE is a Diamond sponsor and was represented across multiple areas throughout the event. The HPE booth focused on taming the IT Monster and how technology and services accelerate the pace of innovation and create richer experiences for patients and clinicians. Here's the list of presentation highlights at the HPE booth:
A productive partnership: Making IT happen
Paula Cobb, the Head of Global Strategic Marketing for Philips Healthcare Informatics, held a presentation highlighting HPE's partnership with Philips to deliver solutions that fit the needs of patients. It focused on how managing healthcareโs complex mosaic requires a core set of strategic partners who are highly responsive and deeply invested in your vision.
Taming the medical image beast: This client presentation by Michael Feld focused on the importance of storing and protecting healthcare data.
AI in healthcare separating the future and the fiction: This session provided knowledge regarding the best practices for the digitalization of healthcare with interesting examples for AI that are in use today with real benefits.
What was the OEM presence like?
The HPE OEM business is working hand in hand with some of the world largest healthcare brands, making Healthcare IT more simplified for the caregivers, so they can focus on what they do best - caring for people.
