HPE CEI Partner Summit at Discover More Munich: Learn about the edge computing market opportunity

HPE resellers and OEM partners often face the challenge of defining viable business cases for the emerging Edge & IoT industry. Some of the most prevalent issues include lack of skills, experience, and best practices, within the workforce and the Edge/IoT industry ecosystem. The recent inaugural HPE Channel-to-Edge Institute (CEI) Partner Summit, held on October 31, 2019, aimed to educate the resellers & channel partners about the edge computing opportunity, thereby helping them assess these challenges and execute Edge & IoT market strategies.

The event, held at the IoT Solutions World Congress, Fira Barcelona Gran Vía in Barcelona, Spain, was a great show. Partners who attended the event, enjoyed it thoroughly. They interacted with the HPE Edge & IoT SMEs at both the Summit and the show floor. The summit had its agenda portioned into three main areas as follows:

• Use Cases - Subject-matter experts discussed about HPE and ecosystem partners’ Edge & IoT offerings with exclusive insights into edge products, solutions and production deployments across industries and geographies.
• Business Cases – Shared experiences on creating and analyzing business outcomes and ROI for you and your customers.
• Brief Cases - Reviews of current go-to-market programs, sales enablement and collateral from HPE and ecosystem partners.

One of our partners, who attended the Summit, said, “A privilege to listen and learn about IoT and the Edge via Dr. Tom and the HPE fellows. Great speakers that shared many detailed examples of business outcomes to lead our customers, partners into new great heights. I must confess, it was eye-opening". Others felt that this was an inspiring learning experience and suggested more such events should be organized. Hence, we are soon coming up with our next HPE CEI Partner Summit, which will be held on December 4th, right after HPE Discover More Munich Day 2.

HPE Discover More Munich, a two-day action-packed event, will be held December 3-4. The event will focus on the latest in edge-to-cloud, AI and security innovations, experiential live demos, thought-provoking sessions, networking opportunities and expert breakouts that will help you transform your digital journey. It'll explore various technologies, applications and data, and how they converge from the edge to the cloud to give your company a new way to define your transformation and carry out more intelligent and effective processes.

On December 4^th, the HPE CEI Partner Summit will be held at the Restaurant Seeblick at the International Congress Center Munich (Level 1), where HPE Discover More Munich will be held beforehand. The Summit will run from 3-6 pm.
