Flexible Extended Support Offerings Satisfy Diverse Customer Requirements

HP offers a variety of technology service plans including extended on-site hardware support coverage and proactive management services to address a wide range of OEM and end-customer requirements. Server component warranty normally comes with one year parts only, which means that you or the customer is responsible for swapping out the parts. When you uplift from warranty to Foundation Care, the server and its HP components fall under HP on-site support for the term of support purchased.   


HP Foundation Care Services provide extended technical support coverage and on-site problem resolutionWhile the standard hardware warranty for HP servers includes next business day response support during regular business hours, HP Foundation Care Services provides additional capabilities like next business day on-site support for server and optional components, 24x7 4 hour response  on-site support and six-hour return to service commitments. 

Three Foundation Care Service options are available:  Next Business Day, 24x7, and Call to Repair.   The table below lists the features included with each Foundation Care option.



For customers seeking even higher levels of service assurance, HP Proactive Care Services leverage advanced remote support technology to proactively monitor and analyze customer IT environments.  Proactive Care Services helps customers identify performance bottlenecks or potential problems before they impact service quality.
