Does anyone know how to tame opctrapi ? opctrapi consumes about 20% to 40% of my resources and pushs the load up to 5

Re: OPCTRAPI

Found the following maybe relevant / worth checking ?

Why does the opctrapi process consume high amounts
of CPU when an SNMP trap is sent to OpC, with the
following pattern matching combination in the
/usr/OV/conf/OpC/sysman/trapi file:

<*.text>

The problem seems to be in the pattern matching when the operators
<*> and are used in a certain combination.

We recommend that you use the following workaround:

Substitute the <*> operator with the <@> operator
when single words should be matched and a
operator follow or proceeds the <*> operator.

Note: The <@> operator is used for matching words
(matches any string) that matches no separator.

For example, change the following:

"<*.ct><*.aid><*.node><*.job><*.ord><*.sev> Not
Noticed<*.date><25S><*.msg>"

to

"<@.ct><@.aid><@.node><@.job><@.ord><@.sev> Not
Noticed<@.date><25S><*.msg>"

The last part of the pattern "<25S><*.msg>" is necessary
to match till the end of the message. That should remain unchanged.
