How to correct time automatically?
If all the systems/workstations are VMS based you can use NTP or DTSS(in decnet-plus).
If all the system/workstations are within a single VMS Cluster, you can use
$ mc sysman
SYSMAN> set e/c
SYSMAN> CONFIGURATION SET TIME
If the system/workstations contain unix, Windows, you should use NTP.
>>from one of my workstation automatically?
If the workstation that as the NTP time source is Windows based, then
1. w32time of Windows cannot be used aa NTP time server but is ok as a NTP client!
2. To configure Windows as NTP server, you need to install a NTP kit on Windows
(see http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/html/build/hints/winnt.html),
There are examples in UCX 4.2 and TCPIP 5.X management guide for NTP configurations.
And you had better use the NTP of VMS/TCPIP 5.X (which is a port of xntpd from unix).
UCX 4.x NTP is buggy!
