11 authorization attempts on standalone W2k machines
Hi experts!
My friend is asking me about strange behaviour in Windows 2000.
He has 2 standalone Windows 2000 workstations. Also, he has user 'test' created with DIFFERENT passwords on these two machines.
If he tries to connect from machine1 to machine2 using Start -> Run -> \\machine2 from machine1, machine1 tries to connect to machine2 11 times (!) - we could see this in log on machine2 and only after such attempts the window appears (on machine1) asking for authorization.
Could you explain this?
Thank you in advance!
