DOS Printing: Capture Print Port

I have a Laserjet 4M plus working fine under Windows 98se peer-to-peer network. However, I want to capture LPT2 to allow a DOS program to print to the port. It was installed/configured using JetAdmin and the port can be seen in explorer as //HP_Network_Printers/4MP. However, when I click on "Capture Printer Port" and try to map LPT2 to this port I receive an error message that the port cannot be found. (Try dialup connection, etc).

How can I direct LPT2 to the jetadmin port?
Thanks in advance.

Re: DOS Printing: Capture Print Port

to "capture" use the NET USE command - eg. net use lpt2\printsrv2hp4000 /y

Feed me chocolate, or the network comes down at noon!
