Evo d510 usb keyboard Win2k

We have 30 EvoD510 slimline USB desktops. Randomly the keyboards quit working on boot and you cannot ctrl-alt-delete to log in. Unplugging the unit may fix the problem.

Tonight I had 5 computers in a row on. I rebooted each twice and on the third time, two of them had dead keyboards.

I have tried:
1. Turning off the power-management
2. Turning off the network boot for PXE support
3. Checking the box allowing the keyboard to wake the computer up
4. Upgrading the BIOS from v1.5 to 1.8
5. Applying latest upgrade to the keyboard driver
6. Applying patch for USB ports.
7. Looking through these forums and knowledgebase for the last hour.

Any help would be appreciated.

Matt

Re: Evo d510 usb keyboard Win2k

Hello Matt,

I've never had this happen to me before but I did find this forum that maybe of some help.

Take a look at the reply from "BULLHMLS" dated "Nov. 10 & 12, 2002". This person feels that it maybe a boot order problem.

I hope this helps.
