HP4050N TIMING OUT

We are running this printer on a tcpip windows nt network. The printer is used by AS400 and it has to be restarted on the AS400 after every job. The only thing I can find is the max time out on the HP is 300 seconds but no way to turn off. Is there a command in the AS400 or the HP printer to avoid restarting this printer.
