How to avoid automatic address reformat by Outlook 2000
Dear experts.
We have the following problem with Outlook 2000.
We are using special fax software and to send fax properly through it, we need to enter the following string in the “TO” field:
(/fax=123456789@fax.cbr.ru), BUT Outlook immediately reformats it as: (“/fax=”123456789@fax.cbr.ru).
We have this problem ONLY with Outlook 2000; Outlook 2003 functions properly.
Thank you in advance!
With best re

Re: How to avoid automatic address reformat by Outlook 2000
One work-around it to create a contact with the properly formated string, then use the contact rather than the string.
MS WANTS to have the input for a fax as follows: "[fax:123456789]"
