How to flash firmware using VCA in Windows 2008 R2 ?
Windows 2008 R2 Version Control Agent does not seem to work properly. On Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 VCA detects System firmware, ILO firmware and disk controller firmware and offer you to upgrade it.
On my Windows 2008 R2 installation, VCA only detects the above as "Compaq Remote Insight ROM", "Compaq System ROM" and "HP Smart Array E200i controller", the brand names are wrong (should be HP), the versions are correct though, but I am not offered any option to upgrade, there is simply no checkbox available ?
(This is a Blade BL465c G5, and if reinstalled to Windows 2008 without R2 I will get back the option to flash firmware in the VCA so I think it must be related to VCA on W2K8 R2)
